Salutations

Hello, my name is Michael Hoggan, some people know me as The Hoagie Bear.  I am 21 and a sophomore at Weber State University studying Video Production.  I am currently involved with Weber States Radio Station 881 Weber FM as a show host for The Weekend Show held Saturdays from 2-4 pm.  Music has always been an important part of my life, however film has been my true passion.  All throughout high school for every project and assignment that would allow, i would try to make a film.  Film includes visual art as well as audio to produce a powerful form of communication.  Just like a library of books conserves societies thoughts, ideas, and cultures, so does a library of film.  In this blog I will review Independent Films as well as some mainstream Hollywood films, in hopes to share my thoughts and feelings about the art of film.
